All About Me
Demet Dayanch is a London-based writer, performer and creator whose work refuses to stay neatly in one box.

A published novelist, screenwriter and playwright, Demet creates bold, character-led stories across television, film, theatre and fiction, combining dark humour with emotional truth.
Her work explores the things humans often find hardest to talk about — identity, sex, disability, trauma, family, neurodivergence, belonging and what happens when life spectacularly refuses to go according to plan.

Her projects range from the outrageous disability comedy F*ck Disability and intergenerational rave dramedy R.O.C. (Renegades of Culture), to her autobiographical novel ABOAN — Autobiography of a No-Body.

With a background in Psychology as well as acting and performance, Demet is fascinated by why people become who they become. That curiosity runs through everything she creates: complicated characters, uncomfortable truths, unexpected humour and stories that rarely behave themselves.

She also writes and performs spoken word, rap and music - because apparently one creative outlet was never going to be enough.
