Demet is a creative from London.
Her second published novel, ABOAN is a funny, heart-opening story of courage and adventure, spanning two decades and several continents.
Demet's debut novel, BEAUTY STONE, swirls through light and dark concepts, encompassing themes of delicious and deadly decadence. Inspired by her favourite Jungian quotes - 'No tree, it is said, can grow to heaven, unless its roots reach to hell', so too do Beauty Stone's protagonists as they see-saws between the afterlife and present day.
Two other novels are in the making: ABOAN part 2 (Autobiography of a Narcissist) and GAME OVER.
As well as writing novels, Demet has a passion for writing plays. PRUSSIAN BLUE and SATURDAY SUPERPOWERS are her greatest accomplishments. The latter also co-directed by her in a production for a Children's Theatre Company.
An 80s kid, Demet watched VHS films back-t0-back, hitting the 10,000 hour rule by her teens. It is no surprise then that film is another medium of expression. She recently finished writing a Drama 'SUMMER'S FALL and a comedy/drama TV series - ROC (Renegades of Culture).
Demet's love for drama doesn't end on the page but the stage where she transforms into characters, bringing stories to life in theatre and film.
Poetry was her first love, and you can see her monthly rhymes on the poetry page.
